“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Thanks for this.

I'm reading Vibrant Matter now. I've also read quite a bit of your work over the summer (Spice; EWN; ET)

And your blog has inspired me to start my own:

i've experienced this (entwined info-relay between /with two entangled particles such that information is relayed between the two no matter (sic) the "distance". It's experientially a bit like nausea at first; and provokes in me an immediate response: pick up the phone and "check" and then also... recovery from feeling queasy (can it really be like that?) Yes it can! yes it is! I love this article. And i'm grateful too; thinking this through on my own I have reached limits of conceptual vocabulary. You've really helped me Tim. Cheers and thanks.
